Vintage Paw Paw Bass Seeker, 1/3oz Green fishing lure #22650

Adorned with a classic green scale finish and dark vertical bars, this specimen represents the craftsmanship of the Paw Paw Bait Company. The 3 1/4" (8.3 cm) jointed body is a testament to the early 20th-century designs that Michigan-based Paw Paw inherited from the Moonlight Bait Company after its inception in the late 1920s. Identified by product code 22650, this 1/3oz (10g) lure features prominent yellow tack eyes and a metal diving lip designed for casting techniques. The specimen is in excellent 5/5 condition, with the paint and hardware remaining exceptionally well-preserved. Two treble hooks are attached via screw-eye hardware, a common construction detail for these mid-century wood lures that remained in production through the 1960s.
