Blue Fox

The Nebco (Nelson, Edgington, and Boys, Company) was founded around the 1930s in Minnesota. Initially, Nebco was known primarily as a distributor of imported fishing lures.

Creation of Blue Fox: In the 1970s, Nebco sought to expand its product line by launching its own brand of spinning lures. The Blue Fox brand was born. The goal was to create high-quality spinners and metal lures that blended American innovation with proven Scandinavian design.

Under the Blue Fox brand, Nebco released its most famous lure the Vibrax Spinner. This spinner became a hit due to its patented rattling bell construction, which created low-frequency sound vibrations that differentiated it from competitors.

 Over the years, the Blue Fox brand became so prominent that it eventually overshadowed the Nebco name. Today, Blue Fox is owned by the Rapala VMC Corporation and continues to produce the Vibrax and other metal lures.
