Museum Archive: Vintage Blue Fox Tor-P-Do 3, 1oz Green / Black / Nickel fishing spoon #0495

Bright green paint accented with black spots defines the front of this heavy-duty casting spoon. At 1oz (28g) and 2 1/4" (6cm) in length, the Blue Fox Tor-P-Do 3, designated as Product Code 0495, offers the density needed for long-distance casting or reaching lower depths while trolling. Turning the lure over reveals a polished nickel reverse side, clearly stamped with the manufacturer's name, model, and its USA origin. The condition is a solid 4/5, showing a very clean surface on both the painted and metallic faces. A large treble hook is secured to the tail by a brass split ring, while the head features a silver split ring for direct line attachment. The iconic fox logo is neatly printed on the upper green portion of the blade, positioned just below the silver-toned line tie.
