Polished gold plating covers the body of this classic Eppinger spoon, a signature look for the Dardevle Imp model. Weighing in at 2/5oz (11g) and measuring 2 1/4" (5.5cm) in length, this specimen carries the iconic devil head logo stamped on its convex face. The reverse side is clearly engraved with "DARDEVLE IMP" and the Eppinger name, identifiers that have marked these lures since Lou Eppinger began manufacturing in Detroit back in 1906. Identified by product code 2207, this lure is a piece of American angling history, manufactured using the brand's proprietary dies. The specimen is in 4/5 condition, showing well-preserved surfaces and clean metal throughout. It remains equipped with its original silver-toned treble hook and split ring, ready for a display case or a careful cast. This mid-sized variant of the legendary Dardevle line was developed to bridge the gap between heavy casting spoons and lighter finesse options.
