Hammered gold plating provides a brilliant flash across the heavy-gauge brass body of this 1/2 oz (14 g) casting spoon. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, this Blue Fox Pixee UV (Product Code 17378) features a signature textured insert designed to simulate a cluster of salmon eggs, which glows prominently under UV light as shown in the secondary image. Originally a National Expert Bait (Nebco) design from the 1960s before being acquired by Blue Fox, the weight distribution of this lure allows it to tumble and roll effectively through river pockets or be cast long distances into coastal winds. The specimen is presented in a well-maintained 4/5 condition, showing light signs of use while preserving the integrity of its finish and hardware. It comes equipped with a corrosion-resistant split ring and a sharp, black-finished treble hook, making it ready for targeting steelhead, salmon, or various saltwater species. The heavy construction is specifically suited for maintaining depth in strong currents, allowing the lure to roll naturally into deep holes when fished with a controlled retrieve.
