Museum Archive: Vintage GRASSL’S DOUBLE OO BAYFIELD BRUTE, 2/5oz fishing spoon #23341

A high-visibility chartreuse paint covers the entire metal body of this 2 1/2" (6.5cm) spoon, originating from the Grassl’s workshop in the USA. The finish remains in excellent condition, warranting a 5/5 rating for its preservation. On the front face, three distinct silver holographic foil inserts provide a checkerboard flash against the neon yellow backdrop. The iconic black Double OO logo is printed clearly on the largest foil patch. Weighing in at 2/5 oz (12g), the Bayfield Brute (Product Code: 23341) features a robust single hook attached via a stainless split ring. Two additional holes at the narrow end of the spoon allow for different knot placements to change the angle of retrieve. The reverse side of the metal maintains a solid, high-visibility finish without any patterns or decals.
