Museum Archive: Vintage ​Suick Cisco Kid Jointed , 1/3oz fishing lure #13861

Measuring 2 1/2" (6.5 cm) in length, this jointed swimmer features a stamped metal diving lip that clearly displays the "CISCO KID" name. Weighing in at 1/3 oz (9.5 g), the body is finished in a gradient of olive green on the back transitioning into silver and gold tones along the sides. A distinctive red accent is painted on the nose right at the joint of the metal lip, a detail characteristic of the Suick manufacturing era in the USA. The two-piece construction is joined by a heavy-duty hinge, designed for various casting and trolling techniques. Attached to the lip eyelet is a vintage-style wire leader, complete with a coiled spring protector near the lure's head. Large, painted white eyes with sharp black pupils give the specimen a classic look, typical of its 13861 product code designation. In a condition rated at 5/5, the finish remains bright and the hardware, including the belly and tail treble hooks, appears well-preserved.
