Museum Archive: Vintage Yakima Bait ​Worden’s Original Rooster Tail, 1/4oz Brass spinning lure #15216

A brass willow leaf blade with a stamped scale pattern is the defining feature of this 2 3/4" (7cm) in-line spinner. Carrying product code 15216, the 1/4oz (7g) Yakima Bait lure is finished with a chartreuse body featuring a dark green diamond-mesh overlay. The tail is hand-tied with dense yellow and brown feathers, a design choice by Howard Worden that has helped anglers target trout in pressured streams since the mid-20th century. Every component of this specimen, from the copper-toned blade to the vibrant painted body, is preserved in 5/5 condition. The willow leaf blade is designed to rotate widely around the central shaft during a steady retrieve.
