Tipping the scales at 1 1/4 oz (35g), this heavy-gauge steel spoon represents a classic era of American tackle manufacturing. Measuring 3 1/2" (9cm) in length, the Worth Chippewa Steel Spoon features a high-contrast Fluorescent Pink stripe over a polished Nickel base. When exposed to ultraviolet light, the pink pigment reacts with an intense glow, a feature intended to enhance visibility in deep water or low-light environments. This specimen, identified by product code 13348, is unused (condition 6) and retains its original factory finish. The construction is centered around a traditional teardrop-shaped stamped body, rigged with a large silver-tone treble hook and a heavy-duty split ring. Originating from the USA, the Chippewa was widely utilized in the latter half of the 20th century as a reliable casting and trolling option for various freshwater and saltwater species. The line-tie end features a single clean-punched hole, ready for a snap swivel or direct knot. The contrast between the saturated fluorescent paint and the reflective nickel back provides two distinct visual signatures in a single metal lure.
