Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in total length, this specimen reflects the mid-century design shift at the Swedish workshops of Abu Garcia. The nickel blade features six distinctive crescent-shaped perforations, a technical choice designed to allow water passage through the metal. An orange-painted body with white scale-like patterns provides a high-contrast visual alongside the bright metallic finish. Stamped clearly on the reverse of the blade is the "HI-FI" branding and Swedish origin, a hallmark of quality for this 1956-era release specifically targeted at the American market.
