Gleaming with a polished gold finish, this vintage specimen weighs 1/8 oz (4 g). The stamped scale detailing and distinct fin-shaped protrusions characterize the Acme Phoebe design, aimed at creating a three-dimensional baitfish illusion. Measuring 1 1/2" (4 cm), the lure remains in its original blister packaging and is in unused condition. Marked with product code 13624, this USA-manufactured spoon features a curve-bent body designed for specific hydrodynamic properties in both fresh and salt water. Interestingly, while the lure is clearly a Phoebe model, it is mounted on an Acme backing card referencing the 'Fiord Spoon,' a quirk sometimes found in vintage packaging runs. The hardware includes a silver-tone split ring and a sharp, bronzed treble hook at the tail.
