Stamping an intricate, scale-like texture across a 1 1/2" (4cm) metal body, the Copper finish on this specimen highlights the unique fish-shaped silhouette credited to designer Blaine Wright. This 1/8oz (4g) spoon carries the legacy of the Butternut Island Tackle Company, where Wright first registered the trademark in 1951 before Acme Tackle Co. acquired the patent in 1960. Identified by product code 3206, the metal features detailed fins and a curved profile that New York Times writer Peter Kaminsky once described as having side markings reminiscent of a Paleolithic cave painting. On the reverse, the stamped branding remains legible despite minor surface wear from time. Rated at a 4/5 condition, the lure retains its original hardware, including the split ring and treble hook. The rich, warm tone of the metal body serves as a testament to the longevity of Wright's original 1950s USA-made design.
