Registered in 1956, the distinctive scalloped edge of this Canadian-made AL&W Half Wave provides a structural profile rarely seen in modern hardware. This specific specimen, identified by product code 6652, weighs 2/3 oz (19 g) and measures 2 3/4" (7 cm) in length. The front face features a crisp application of slanted red patterns over a white base, with the original nickel finish exposed on the upper portion of the blade. On the reverse, the polished surface is clearly stamped with the AL&W Tackle logo and the design registration date. A translucent red plastic flapper tail is mounted on the rear split ring to serve as a visual trigger just above the original treble hook. The condition of the lure is 5/5, showing a very high state of preservation on both the painted and metallic surfaces. Two sturdy split rings at the line tie and hook attachment points indicate this spoon was built for durability during casting or trolling sessions.
