Museum Archive: Vintage Bullet Bait Bullet Blade, 1/3oz Silver fishing spoon #7938

Textured holographic tape reflects light across the silver-toned body of this vintage blade lure. Crafted in the USA by The Bullet Bait company of Knoxville, Tennessee, this 2" (5 cm) Bullet Blade was the brainchild of Charlie Nuckols. Unlike the Heddon Sonar which features a lead weight, this monolithic model is cast entirely from a lightweight zinc alloy. Identified by product code 7938, the 1/3 oz (10 g) lure features a distinct silver color scheme punctuated by four vertical dark lines and a bright red eye detail. The hardware consists of two belly-mounted treble hooks, appearing sturdy and ready for casting or vertical jigging applications. This specimen is in excellent condition, rated at 5/5, showing the original factory finish and well-maintained hardware across its metallic frame.
