Featuring a distinctive Tiger pattern of black vertical bars over a bone-white body, this specimen carries the product code 20125. Weighing in at 1/4 oz (7 g), the Calco Water Dog #235 demonstrates the detailed finishing typical of mid-century Japanese exports. A vibrant red splash is applied to the belly, providing a sharp contrast against the pale underbelly. The head is finished in black with prominent yellow eyes that stand out against the dark paint. Construction includes a polished metal diving lip at the nose and a small teardrop spinner blade attached to the rear swivel. This rear blade is clearly stamped with its country of origin, Japan. At a length of 2 1/4" (5.5 cm), the lure is equipped with two belly-mounted treble hooks secured by standard eyelets. The overall state of the lure is excellent, rated at 5/5, with the paint and metal hardware remaining bright and well-preserved.
