Tipping the scales at a substantial 3 1/2 oz (100 g), this Dardevle Cop-E-Cat 7000 represents the heavier end of Eppinger’s legendary spoon production. Measuring a full 5 1/4" (13.5 cm) in length, the lure showcases a classic Red/White/Nickel color palette, featuring a clean white center stripe flanked by bold red sides. The front is adorned with the characteristic devil head logo, while the polished reverse side bears a crisp stamp identifying it as a product of the Eppinger Mfg. Co. from Dearborn, Michigan, USA. This Dearborn marking places its origin after the company's 1959 move from Detroit, reflecting a well-known era in American tackle manufacturing history. Identified by product code 8280, the specimen remains in 5/5 condition, with the paint retaining its original luster and the heavy-duty hardware showing remarkably well. The large, sharp treble hook is secured by a stout split ring, while a second split ring at the nose provides a secure attachment point for heavy leaders.
