Painted in the iconic Red Devle pattern, this 1oz (28g) spoon features the classic bold white stripe across a vibrant red field. This particular specimen, identified by product code 22195, measures 3 1/2" (9cm) and showcases the meticulous manufacturing Eppinger is known for. On the concave side, the metal is stamped with "DARDEVLE DETROIT, U.S.A.", a mark of its production history before the company's 1959 relocation to Dearborn. The painted side includes the classic devil-head logo near the split ring. Regarding its condition, the lure rates a 5/5, showing a clean, high-gloss finish with very minimal paint loss near the attachment points and a bright, mirror-like finish on the reverse. These Detroit-stamped lures are a staple of American tackle history, reflecting the same design quality that once earned them a place in military aviation survival kits. The heavy-gauge steel construction is paired with a sturdy treble hook designed for targeting large predatory fish.
