Stamped clearly on the reverse side is 'DEVLE-DOG 7700 DETROIT U.S.A.,' providing a direct connection to the early manufacturing roots of the Eppinger brand in Michigan. Weighing in at 1/2 oz (14g), the spoon has the density required for stable casting. The front is finished in a traditional Frog pattern, featuring a deep green crackle layered over a bright yellow-gold base. This specific piece, assigned product code 13799, is in 5/5 condition with a clean, reflective nickel back and well-preserved paint. At 2 1/4" (5.5cm) long, the hardware consists of a darkened treble hook linked via a sturdy split ring. The Detroit hallmark confirms this lure was produced prior to the company's relocation to Dearborn in 1959, and the concave shape of the nickel-plated body is specifically formed to track through the water column.
