Polished nickel plating on the reverse side features the "DEVLE-DOG 7700" stamp alongside the "DETROIT U.S.A." mark, placing the production of this specimen before Eppinger's 1959 move to Dearborn. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) and weighing 1/2 oz (14 g), the spoon is dressed in a vibrant red and white striped pattern. The iconic devil head logo remains clearly visible on the white central stripe. Stamped hardware includes a substantial treble hook secured by a split ring at the base. This piece, identified by product code 3608, is in excellent condition, showing a clean, high-shine finish that warrants a 5/5 rating. Such spoons were famously effective, leading to their inclusion in U.S. military survival kits during the mid-20th century.
