Stamped clearly on the reverse with the "DARDEVLE SPINNIE" name, this Eppinger spoon is a classic piece of Michigan-made tackle. The 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) body is finished in a high-visibility orange pattern accented with bold black spots and a red chevron containing the famous devil head logo. Weighing in at 1/3 oz (9 g), the lure features the deep concave bend that has defined Eppinger's designs since Lou Eppinger started the company in 1906. This specimen, listed under product code 19194, retains its original treble hook and split ring hardware. The painted surface shows honest signs of use with some minor edge chipping, giving it a respectable 4/5 condition rating. Because of the specific stamping and weight, this Spinnie is an excellent representative of the mid-sized lures that transition well between panfish and larger predatory species. Every Dardevle is manufactured in the USA using proprietary dies that ensure the consistency anglers have trusted for over a century.
