Dura-Pak
Dura-Pak Corporation was a fishing tackle company based in South Sioux City, Nebraska. The company is notable for owning and producing the legendary Lazy Ike lure brand for seven years (from 1981 to 1988), before the corporation itself was acquired by another group.
1981: Dura-Pak Corporation acquired the Lazy Ike Corporation, becoming the producer of the famous Lazy Ike fishing lures, a brand with a history dating back to the 1920s.
1988: The Great American Fishing Supply Company acquired the assets of Dura-Pak, and with them, the Lazy Ike brand. Operations continued in Sioux City.
