Measuring 2 1/4" (6cm) in length, this specimen represents a specialized chapter in the Eppinger design catalog. The 1/2oz (14g) Wingbat features a crisp white base color accented by a distinctive silver glitter inlay along the center of the body. Identified by product code 20500, the lure is defined by its unique construction, featuring two small metal blades or "wings" hinged to the upper portion of the main plate. This specific rarity remains unused, still secured in its original blue and green blister packaging which bears the famous Dardevle devil head logo. A single treble hook is attached to the rear via a robust split ring, a hardware setup typical of the heavy-duty casting tools produced by the Lou J. Eppinger Mfg. Co. out of Dearborn, Michigan. The stamped metal body shows no signs of age, preserving the glitter texture exactly as it left the factory.
