A vibrant red concave mouth defines the face of this 1 1/4" (3 cm) Fred Arbogast Hula Popper, a design specifically shaped for surface duty at a 0 ft (0 m) depth. This specimen, weighing approximately 3/16 oz (5 g) and identified by product code 10701, features a black back over white sides decorated with dark vertical ribbing. The oversized yellow eyes with black pupils are a hallmark of the series, intended to mimic prey species like frogs or large insects. Following the innovation Fred Arbogast introduced in 1941, the lure is equipped with a green and black rubber hula skirt that provides movement even when the body is at rest. This specific lure is unused, retaining its sharp factory finish and original hardware. Its small profile is a classic choice for smallmouth streams, where it can be worked to replicate the appearance of terrestrial insects or small baitfish. The name 'HULA POPPER' is clearly stamped on the dorsal surface for easy identification.
