Stamped clearly on the oversized metal lip are the Akron, Ohio origins of this classic Fred Arbogast creation, including the original patent number. This Jitterbug features the Tiger finish, which on this specific specimen consists of a deep charcoal-toned back giving way to a white underbelly, broken up by a series of bold, dark spots. A vibrant red accent is visible on the underside of the tail, providing a sharp contrast against the light belly. The hardware includes two belly-mounted treble hooks and the iconic double-lobed aluminum lip that defines the model's profile. Identified by product code 7248, the lure weighs 1/3 oz (10 g) and has a length of 2 1/4" (6 cm). The yellow-and-black painted eyes remain crisp and well-defined against the dark head.
