A distinctive yellow prismatic sticker carrying the 'OO' logo is applied to the front of this 1/3oz (9g) brass casting lure. Measuring 1 1/2" (3.7cm), the specimen represents the mid-century craftsmanship of Ferdinand O. Grassl, who founded the Grassl's Double OO Company in 1960 in River Falls, Wisconsin. Designed originally for targeting large pike, the brass body displays a soft, non-reflective finish characteristic of the material's age. The treble hook is secured via a sturdy split ring at the rear of the tapered body. Identified by product code 17990, the lure remains in 5/5 condition with the reflective insert showing minimal wear. The stamped hole at the head is ready for a direct line tie or additional hardware common for casting techniques in freshwater environments.
