Stamped clearly on the silver willow-style blade is the "BIG BEND GYRO" identifier, a hallmark of this vintage Japanese-made rarity. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5cm) in length and weighing a delicate 3/32oz (2.5g), this lure represents the detailed craftsmanship found in mid-century Japanese exports. The body construction consists of a ribbed metal stack, accented by a single bright orange bead and a silver spherical spacer that allows the blade assembly to rotate freely on the wire shaft. Hand-applied black slash marks and a bold red chevron decorate the blade, adding visual contrast to the polished metal. This specimen, identified by product code 24391, comes equipped with its original treble hook and remains in exceptional 5/5 condition, showing well-preserved paint and hardware. The wire form concludes with a traditional hand-wrapped eyelet, a common structural feature for light-tackle spinners of this period.
