Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) in length, this classic metal lure features a textured silver center strip bordered by vibrant red paint. The design includes two small red beads wired near the head to serve as eyes, a characteristic detail found on many mid-century Herter's offerings. Flipping the 1/3 oz (9 g) body over reveals a clean silver finish with 'HERTER SPOON' stamped clearly into the metal. Produced in Japan during the post-war era, this specimen carries the Product Code 18807 and shows the high-quality plating typical of the manufacturer's imports. The hardware remains bright, featuring a silver treble hook and split rings at both ends. For its age, the lure is in 5/5 condition, with the paint and metal stamps remaining sharp and well-defined.
