Museum Archive: Vintage Acme K.O. Wobbler , 1/2oz Red / White / Nickel fishing spoon #14815

Red and white diagonal stripes create a high-contrast pattern on the front face of this Acme K.O. Wobbler, a design that has earned its place in many a veteran's tackle box. Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) in length, the spoon features a polished nickel reverse side clearly stamped with its model name. The 1/2 oz (14 g) weight makes it a substantial choice for reaching deeper water or cutting through the wind during long casts. This specimen, identified by product code 14815, retains its original hardware, including the characteristic "Sonic flipper tail" trailing just ahead of the treble hook. This small metal flapper is a signature detail of the USA-made K.O. line, designed to add a secondary flash and subtle sonic element. Both the front and back finishes are in excellent condition (rating 5/5), with the painted surfaces and metal substrate appearing very clean.
