Museum Archive: Vintage Luhr Jensen Krocodile, 1/3oz fishing spoon #15825

Weighing 1/3 oz (9 g), this 1 1/2" (4 cm) casting spoon is built for distance and depth. The front face is decorated with a vivid blue and red fish scale pattern, finished with a heavy coat of glitter for extra visual draw. On the reverse, the "LUHR JENSEN KROCODILE" stamp is clearly legible against the bright silver metal. This specimen, identified by product code 15825, includes the traditional red plastic tag on the rear split ring, which serves as a visual strike point alongside the sharp treble hook. A pre-attached barrel swivel on the nose is a standard Luhr Jensen feature to minimize line twist. The condition is a solid 5/5, with the paint and hardware remaining exceptionally clean. While the Krocodile is known for its steady wobble, its thick, narrow profile is what truly aids in those long casts over staging fish.
