Museum Archive: Luhr Jensen Krocodile #4, 2/3oz nickel/orange UV fishing spoon #18797

Measuring 2 1/2" (6.5 cm), the elongated profile of this metal spoon is designed to minimize air resistance for long-distance casting. This Luhr Jensen Krocodile #4, listed under product code 18797, features the Chrome Fire Stripe pattern, consisting of a polished chrome body with a distinct orange accent along the side. Tipping the scales at 2/3 oz (19 g), the spoon's thick construction ensures it reaches the desired depth quickly when trolled or cast. The reverse of the vintage carding shows a production date of February 1986, a period when these lures were still associated with the Luhr Jensen legacy in Hood River, Oregon. This specimen is unused and remains in its original retail packaging.
