Museum Archive: Vintage Luhr Jensen Krocodile, 1/3oz Nickel / Rainbow Hologram fishing spoon #9059

A rainbow hologram scale pattern catches the light across the convex face of this 1 1/2" (4 cm) spoon. Identified by product code 9059, this Luhr Jensen Krocodile is a quintessential piece of American-made tackle. At a weight of 1/3 oz (9 g), its thicker and narrower metal profile is designed for long casts and reaching depth. The reverse side is a high-polish nickel, stamped clearly with the Luhr Jensen Krocodile branding. This specimen is outfitted with a red treble hook and a signature red attractor tab at the split ring, providing a distinct focal point. A factory-rigged swivel is attached at the nose to help manage the lure’s natural wobbling motion. Preserved in 5/5 condition, the prismatic foil remains vibrant and shows the level of craftsmanship expected from vintage Luhr Jensen production.
