Stamped into the gold-tone reverse side, the KROCODILE and DIE #3 markings confirm this spoon's origin from the Luhr Jensen factory in Hood River, Oregon. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) and weighing 1/3 oz (10 g), this lure is cataloged under product code 12880. The front face is finished in yellow with a black honeycomb scale pattern along the edge, contrasting with the polished gold-brass back. Luhr Jensen crafted these spoons with a thicker, narrower profile to maintain a stable wobble when pulled through the water.
