Fluorescent yellow paint covers the surface of this spoon, accented by several curved orange slashes known as the 'Fire Wing' pattern. This vintage Luhr Jensen Krocodile Die #3, identified by product code 1890, is a classic casting and trolling staple from the Hood River, Oregon era. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, the lure features a heavy-gauge metal construction designed to help reach distance when casting into the wind. While the catalog often lists various sizes, this specific specimen is marked at 3/8 oz (10.6 g) on the card. It is unused and remains in its original factory blister packaging, holding a condition rating of 6. A barrel swivel is pre-attached to the front split ring to help manage line twist, and the reverse of the card lists other legendary brand names once part of the Jensen family, including Tony Accetta and Sam Griffin.
