Museum Archive: Vintage Lindy / Little Joe Lindy Gator , 2oz red/white/nickel fishing spoon #23586

Diamond-textured nickel plating serves as the foundation for this 2 oz (55g) Lindy Gator spoon. Measuring 4 1/2" (11.5cm) in length, the lure features a striking red and white paint application over its stamped scale pattern. A deep red chevron accents the head region, while the rest of the body transitions into a white center with red flanking the lower edges. Manufactured in the USA by Lindy / Little Joe, this specimen carries the product code 23586 and includes an oversized googly eye for added visual contrast near the line tie. The hardware consists of a sturdy treble hook attached via a split ring at the rear. Maintaining a 4/5 condition rating, the spoon exhibits bright metallic surfaces and vibrant pigment throughout.
