Measuring 1 1/2" (4 cm) in length, this specimen represents the classic era of American spoon manufacturing before the Acme acquisition in the early 1980s. The Seneca Lure company produced this particular Little Cleo, cataloged as product code 3372, in Geneva, New York. A distinct blue scale pattern covers the face of the spoon, featuring a striking gold stripe running down the center against a polished nickel base. Tipping the scales at 1/4 oz (7 g), the weight is concentrated in its iconic humped shape, specifically designed for casting efficiency. The reverse side bears a crisp stamp identifying its origins in the USA. For a vintage find, its condition is a 5/5, with the original hardware and finish remaining vibrant and intact. A single treble hook is secured by a sturdy split ring at the tail.
