Museum Archive: Vintage Other Little Cleo Crystal, 1/4oz Crystal (Golden Scale) #8399

Stamped with the iconic "Little Cleo" branding on its reverse side, this 1 1/2" (4cm) spoon features the rare Crystal (Golden Scale) finish, a textured pattern designed to catch and scatter light. Weighing in at 1/4oz (7g), this specimen represents the craftsmanship of the original Seneca Lure Co. based in the USA, manufactured before the brand's acquisition by Acme in the early 1980s. The "shattered glass" effect on the front of the lure, identified by product code 8399, remains remarkably clear and reflective. The hardware consists of a sturdy top split ring and a sharp, bronze-finished treble hook. This particular lure is in 5/5 condition, showing well-preserved surfaces and crisp stamping. The wide, hump-backed shape of the spoon is a signature characteristic of the Little Cleo design, frequently used for casting and trolling.
