Split between a polished nickel finish and a vibrant green section, the color pattern on this specimen is a classic example of early Seneca craftsmanship. Stamped on the concave interior is the iconic dancing hula girl, a hallmark of the original Seneca Lure company production before the design was simplified in the early 1980s. Weighing 1/4oz (7g) and measuring 2 1/4" (6cm), this particular 1079 model features the distinctive "WIGL" and "LITTLE CLEO" lettering that vintage collectors prioritize. The nickel and green finish remains exceptionally bright, maintaining a 5/5 condition rating that showcases the lure's smooth, reflective surfaces and sharp stampings. Many seasoned anglers hold the belief that these original versions with the dancer stamp possess a unique charm compared to modern iterations. This American-made spoon retains its original hardware, including the split rings and single hook, exactly as it left the Seneca factory.
