Museum Archive: Vintage Seneca Little Cleo (Hula Girl), 1/2oz Nickel/Red fishing spoon #17969

Checkerboard-patterned red prismatic tape covers exactly half of the nickel-plated surface on this vintage find. Stamped clearly on the concave side is the legendary 'Hula Girl' dancer, a signature detail from when the Seneca Lure company originally manufactured these pieces before Acme acquired the brand in the early 1980s. Weighing 1/2oz (14g) and measuring 2 1/4" (5.5cm), the lure is marked with 'WIGL LURE' and carries the specific product code 17969. The specimen is rated 4/5, exhibiting well-preserved engravings and a clean metal finish. A stout treble hook is attached via a split ring, paired with a single line-tie hole at the tapered nose.
