Weighing 1/2 oz (14 g) and measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm), this casting spoon features a heavily textured black front finished with silver glitter highlights. Turning the spoon over reveals the famous engraved "Hula Girl" dancer, stamped alongside "LITTLE CLEO" and "WIGL LURE". Manufactured by Seneca Lure before Acme Tackle acquired the company in the early 1980s, this original version carries the classic dancer mark that many veteran anglers swear is the real secret behind the spoon's fish-catching success. The back shows the polished brass underlay with minor surface wear consistent with its 4/5 condition rating. Because Acme eventually removed the hula girl engraving from later production runs, these early Seneca models are highly sought after by collectors who appreciate the historical stampings.
