Stamped onto the bright orange finish of this 2 1/4" (5.5cm) spoon is the iconic hula girl figure, a hallmark of the original Seneca Lure company before their acquisition by Acme in the early 1980s. This specimen, assigned product code 7540, weighs in at 2/3oz (18g) and maintains a vibrant solid orange front contrasted by a polished nickel back. Collectors often seek out these "Hula Girl" variants because the dancer graphic was eventually phased out of production, despite many anglers swearing that the charm of the silhouette was the secret to the lure's historical success. The metal body is equipped with sturdy split rings and a sharp treble hook, suitable for heavy casting or trolling. Its surface is extremely well-preserved, earning a 5/5 condition rating with clean hardware and a mirror-like shine on the nickel side. The "WIGL LURE" text stamped near the tail provides a direct link to the Seneca era of production.
