Splitting the nickel and vibrant green finish, this vintage spoon weighs in at 2/5 oz (11.3 g). Part of the Seneca lineup produced before the Acme acquisition, this specific specimen, identified by product code 8786 and the C-200 card designation, remains in its original packaging and is unused. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, the lure represents a classic era of tackle manufacturing from the Seneca Division of Acme Tackle Company in Providence, Rhode Island. The card identifies it as a 'Wigl-Lure' and 'The Wigglin' Killer,' indicating its design for casting and retrieval. While the polished front is striking, the true character of this 'Hula Girl' model lies on its reverse side, where the famous dancer is stamped into the metal—a detail that was eventually phased out after the brand's full transition to Acme. This particular lure is presented on a light blue card that invites the angler to see other favorite Seneca lures on the back, including the Side-Winder and Wob-L-Rite.
