Stamped with the iconic Hula Girl dancer on its polished nickel-finished underside, this 1/2 oz (14 g) spoon represents a classic era of American tackle design from the Seneca Lure company. Carrying the product code 5981, the lure features a distinctive split-color face with one half in glow-in-the-dark white and the other in a bold green. This specific iteration predates the early 1980s acquisition by Acme, after which the beloved dancer engraving was eventually removed from production. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, the metal remains clean and the engravings, including the 'WIGL LURE' text, are sharply defined. The specimen is presented in 5/5 condition, showing the high-quality craftsmanship that made the Seneca-era spoons a staple for anglers targeting trout and salmon. A sturdy treble hook is attached via a heavy-duty split ring at the base of the teardrop-shaped body.
