Museum Archive: Vintage Little Cleo Seneca, 1/8oz Gold fishing spoon #12081

Gold plating with a bright, reflective finish defines this 1 1/4" (3 cm) spoon. Weighing 1/8 oz (4 g), this Little Cleo Seneca was manufactured in the USA by the Seneca Lure company prior to its acquisition by Acme in the early 1980s. The "LITTLE CLEO" stamp is clearly visible on the inner concave surface, a signature detail for this specific model, product code 12081. It features a dark-finished treble hook and original split rings, all appearing in 5/5 condition with a very clean surface. The teardrop shape of the body is a classic design intended for casting in various water conditions. This particular specimen is a fine example of the high-quality plating used by Seneca before production methods changed under new ownership.
