Copper and red paint adorns the curved surface of this Seneca Little Cleo, a classic piece of American tackle history. Measuring 1 1/4" (3 cm) and weighing 1/8 oz (4 g), this spoon predates the early 1980s when the Seneca Lure Company was acquired by Acme. The back side is cleanly stamped with the "LITTLE CLEO" name, distinguishing it from later mass-produced versions. Attached by a gold split ring, the bronze-finished treble hook remains sharp and intact. This specimen, identified by product code 9762, maintains a 5/5 condition with the finish showing beautifully against the metal. Its teardrop-shaped body is a hallmark of the original USA-made design, intended for steady casting and trolling. Collectors often look for these Seneca-era models specifically for the distinct way the paint was applied over the copper base.
