Museum Archive: Vintage Seneca Little Cleo UV, 1/8oz Gold / Orange fishing spoon #5627

Weighing in at a nimble 1/8 oz (4 g), this Seneca-made spoon features a classic Gold and Orange split-finish design. The 1 1/4" (3 cm) body displays the distinctive "LITTLE CLEO" stamp, a hallmark of the original Seneca Lure Company production before they were acquired by Acme in the early 1980s. This particular specimen, identified by product code 5627, utilizes a fluorescent orange coating designed to react in UV light. The brass-toned plating remains bright, and the original treble hook is attached via a sturdy metal split ring. Produced in the USA, the lure is in excellent 5/5 condition, showing well-preserved paint on the curved profile. The stamping on the reverse side is crisp and clear, confirming its vintage pedigree from the pre-Acme era.
