This specific specimen, Product Code 4162, weighs in at 3/5 oz (16 g) and showcases the unique design hallmark of the Marathon Bait Company: two small, teardrop-shaped sonic blades attached near the tail. These auxiliary blades provide extra flash and visual presence right around the treble hook area. Stamped clearly on the polished silver reverse is the Marathon name, representing the Wisconsin-based manufacturer that produced lures between 1929 and 1979.
