Known as the Marathon UV, product code 5600, it features a pair of elongated nickel sonic blades mounted to the rear rings, designed to generate flashes of light and mask the sharp treble hook. These specialized blades provide a distinct visual profile as they flutter alongside the 3 3/4" (9.5cm) long body. The Marathon Bait Company, a cornerstone of Wisconsin tackle manufacturing from 1929 to 1979, clearly stamped their hallmark onto the polished nickel backside of this specimen.
