Weighing in at 2/5 oz (12 g), this 2 1/4" (6 cm) nickel-plated spoon features a striking diamond-pattern holographic foil on its convex side. The Marathon Bait Company, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer active from 1929 to 1979, designed this specific model (Product Code 10276) with dual "sonic blades" attached to the rear split ring. These slender mini-blades are intended to provide extra flash and subtle movement around the treble hook, effectively masking the terminal tackle while adding a secondary visual element. The back of the specimen is clearly stamped with the Marathon name and displays a highly reflective finish. This lure remains in 5/5 condition, maintaining its original luster across the metal surfaces and the multifaceted sticker. The small secondary blades are stamped with a number 1, indicating their size relative to the main body of the spoon.
