Stamping on the silver blade reveals the original "British French Pat." and "Aglia" markings, a direct link to Andre Meulnart’s 1938 invention. This size 0 specimen weighs 3/32oz (2.5g) and measures 1 3/4" (4.5cm), characterizing it as a quintessential choice for ultra-light casting. On the reverse side, the blade is clearly marked "Made in France," while the overall lure was assembled in the USA. The central body features a stack of brass beads and a weighted base that provides stability for the clevis-mounted rotation system. A notable detail is the treble hook, which comes equipped with a distinctive red plastic sleeve designed to act as a visual focal point for trout or panfish. In 5/5 condition, the silver finish is exceptionally bright and the brass hardware remains clean, indicating it has been carefully preserved. The wire shaft is tightly coiled at the eyelet, showcasing the durable construction expected from Product Code 10339. The wide-profile blade is engineered to rotate instantly upon retrieve, creating the mechanical resistance necessary for the spinner to function across various water depths.
