Weighing in at a delicate 1/16oz (2.2g), this ultra-light spinner represents the foundation of the Mepps legacy. The dark-finished blade is clearly stamped with 'BRITISH PATENT' and 'CHEVETTE FRANCE,' highlighting the European origins of its components before assembly in the USA. Measuring 1 1/2" (4cm) in length, the lure's body is composed of two solid brass beads that provide the necessary ballast for casting on light lines. This particular specimen, identified by product code 1355, is presented in 4/5 condition, maintaining a clean appearance across its black blade and wire forms. The Aglia’s design utilizes a precise cone rotation system, allowing the blade to spin freely against the brass beads. A sharp, bronze-finished treble hook completes the assembly, intended for the light strikes of trout, crappie, or perch.
